2bit Bones is Edgy.Munkey Animation's first animated series project, produced as an independent production. This mean that this series is produced entirely with our own funds, on our own time, in between paid projects and personal life.
We set out wanting to do something simple: episodic shorts that won't break a bank to produce, yet substantial enough in terms of production and entertainment value that people will want to watch it when they are bored enough.
The result : The adventures of a tiny robot who is probably too curious for his own good.
The idea of 2bit being a “portable-robot” stems from the reality of the perpetually shrinking sizes of modern day electronic devices. We have cellphones the size of a wristwatch and computers that can fit in your back pocket, why not a sentient robot you could carry in your lunchbox too.
For a robot his size, 2bit is not very concerned about his own well-being when it comes to fulfilling his curiosity about his surroundings and everything in it, often much to his owner's chagrin. Despite his inherent clumsiness and general lack of tact, his intrepid spirit remains unfazed as he makes everyday an (mis)adventure.
